The Knotted Record. The citadel’s keepers hid the city’s gold before the strangers came, and the only record of where is a set of knotted cords. The mountain mist has closed the passes, and the citadel’s gates are barred.

The Gold Gets Taxed. Every piece of gold you find is taxed before you can pick it up.
Knot My Problem. Every keeper in the citadel says the tangled records are not their problem.
