Before the Tide Turns. Your boat ran aground in the mangrove channels, and the tide is about to turn. When it does, the channels will close, and the only chart of the way out is in a fisher’s hut on stilts.

Crabs Give Wrong Directions. The crabs know the way out of the maze, and they all point sideways.
Paved for Parking. The mangroves are being paved for a car park, and the exit is behind the bulldozer.
Root Canal. The mangrove roots have formed a canal, and the canal has a toothache.
Choose “Parody” before you start and one of these is picked at random.
