Prefer it funny? The parody versions
The Kettle Has Ambitions. The workshop’s giant kettle has become self-aware. It has locked every door until someone agrees that it makes the finest tea in the city.
Brass Goggles, Premium Edition. Every gear in this workshop is decorative. The ones that actually turn are behind a subscription, and your free trial of doors has ended.
Full Steam Behind. The inventor got everything a little backwards. The doors open the wrong way, the clocks run left, and the only way out is full steam behind.
Choose “Parody” before you start and one of these is picked at random.
